DJ booth FAQ

  • Please bring your own headphones with a 1/4 inch adapter and a USB key prepared in Rekordbox before your session.

  • DJ Booth bookings include 1 CDJ-3000, 2 CDJ-2000NXS2 players, all linked, and a DJM-A9 mixer.

    Alternate or additional DJ equipment may be available for an additional rental fee with at least 72 hours’ advance notice. Email us at info@breakglass.ca to request a custom setup.

  • DJ Booth bookings include up to 5 people total.

    For larger groups, private parties, or events, please book a private event or email us at info@breakglass.ca.

  • Breakglass Studios is located at 7250 Clark Street in Montreal. The suite number and access instructions are provided after booking.

  • Yes. You can record the audio of your DJ set directly from the DJM-A9 mixer using the DJM-REC app. Please download the app before your session.

    You can also record video using our built-in YoloBox recording system connected to the room camera. If you plan to use the YoloBox, bring an SD card up to 128GB, formatted to FAT32.

    We recommend recording backup audio with the DJM-REC app whenever you use the YoloBox.

  • Yes. DJ lessons are available for $75 per hour. Email us at info@breakglass.ca with a few possible times, and we will confirm based on instructor availability.

  • Yes. For private parties, larger groups, listening sessions, screenings, workshops, and events, visit our Private Events page or email info@breakglass.ca.
